Phuket’s North

The Finest Phuket has to Offer

Here you’ll find the epitome of tropical Phuket living with diverse and vibrant communities, restaurants and shopping to satiate any desire, and a surplus of sand and sea.

The northern region of Phuket consists of the west coast from Surin to Sarasin bridge and inland areas such as Thalang and Zenithy Villas’ neighborhood of Cherng Talay. As this area continues to grow in popularity with expats from around the world, so too does the variety of entertainment, education, activities, restaurants, and all of the things that make life interesting. Life here is an enriching experience for all ages and is punctuated with an outgoing and friendly community with acceptance and inclusion for all.

Crossing the bridge to Phuket puts you in Mai Khao with its seemingly never ending beach and rural feel – where you can truly get away from it all. Mai Khao finally ends at Phuket International Airport where it blends into Nai Yang Beach within Sirinat National Park. A handful of resorts and hotels are located here flanked by the small local villages and businesses which mostly support the airport. Not far offshore lie shallow reefs of surprising quality for diving. Several kilometers of undeveloped national forest lie to the south before the lazy beach village of Nai Thon nestled at the base of the surrounding mountains. A windy mountain road leads to Layan with little along the way except a few resorts clinging to the cliffs and tiny Banana Beach with it’s desert island vibe and dramatic sea views.

Our journey has inevitably reached its final destination – Zenithy’s location and immediate area. Residents are blessed with the local beaches of lovely, peaceful Layan and beautiful Bang Tao with fun activities, beach clubs, and seafood restaurants. You can be home at your Zenithy Villa rinsing off in your outdoor shower just 10 minutes after leaving the beach.

While the beaches are a predominant feature of Phuket, expat life in this part of the island has plenty more to offer. Want an enormous water park with tons of activities for kids? Got it. Itching to learn to wakeboard, surf, or skateboard? Wakeboarding parks, surf schools, and skateparks are all nearby. Golf? Yep. Have a burning desire to shop and sample street food? You’ll find tons of local retail shops, outdoor markets, and department stores within easy reach. Craving sushi, real Italian pizza, mediterranean fare, or Mexican food? You’ll be spoilt for options. Vegan? No problem.

The nearby Laguna resort complex is a convenient local resource who host all sorts of events from fun runs, to triathlons, as well as a variety of meetings, workshops, and trade shows at their convention centers.
